Hazing Prevention Week 2024

September 20, 2024
Hazing Prevention Week 2024

The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) will observe Hazing Prevention Week September 23-27. Hazing Prevention Week is dedicated to raising awareness, fostering open discussions, and providing resources to help students recognize and prevent hazing. Hazing in any form is harmful and contrary to the values of respect, inclusion, and safety that we uphold at UTSA.

The Student Involvement Center will host a series of events to empower the UTSA community with knowledge and tools to stand against hazing. From understanding what constitutes hazing to learning how to support those who might be affected, together we can build a stronger, more inclusive campus.
